Volunteers can make a big difference to World Child Cancer USA’s work, and we have various volunteer opportunities throughout the year. You can volunteer with us at our headquarters in Denver or remotely. We’d love to have you join our team!
- Event Volunteers: There are opportunities to volunteer at our events or to host your own. If you would like to be contacted when these opportunities come up, please email us to let us know.
- Fundraising Volunteers – Fundraising volunteers are needed to host small events in your communities. You can host a jean’s day at the office, ask local businesses to donate, hold a bake sale, or any other idea you may have. You can set up your own individual fundraising page on World Child Cancer USA’s CrowdRise page here. For more information on fundraising for us, please email us.
- World Child Cancer USA Ambassadors – World Child Cancer USA Ambassadors are our main outreach arm and represent our strongest supporters across the nation—individuals who are dedicating their voice, time, and support to raise awareness and funds for children with cancer in developing countries. Ambassadors work closely with our staff, Board, and other volunteers and receive training to advocate for children with cancer and raise awareness in their communities. Visit our Ambassador page for information on how to apply.
- Join our summer 2017 Youth Ambassador program which encourages youth to develop their own ideas and programs to raise funds and awareness for kids with cancer. If you know a student looking for a chance to do something big this summer, either as an individual or as part of a team, please encourage them to apply to World Child Cancer as a Youth Ambassador. While we are based in Denver, CO, we will use online technology to regularly connect with Ambassadors around the country. The application and info can be found here.
